123 Principle

123 Principle

The 123 Principle is the basics of ATC collage.. if you ever hit a slump or get stuck for an idea, drag out that big box of left over images and scrap papers and just play........

You will need:

  1. one main image
  2. Two background papers (old text books, newspapers, script paper, scrapbook paper etc.,)
  3. Three embellishments

also required is:

  • Gluestick
  • ATC back

  • Cut your two background papers out 2 3/4" x 3 3/4" and place them on top of each other. if using text paper make sure both are right way up. Now tear across diagonally.
  • Because you have cut them slightly bigger than the ATC and torn them together your peices are enough for two ATCs, they will meet in the middle and overlap with no gaps.
  • glue your two peices down onto the atc back with a gluestick
  • cut out your image and glue on top of the papers. No floaties!  make sure that the image is touching the edge somewhere so its not floating on the card
  • now embellish with your three embellishments and you're done!
