Briteshine

Briteshine

Brightshine is a car polish product, intended for cleaning mag wheels, what a waste vbg, we know a much better use for it vbg.  Word of warning - it does have a 'fume' to it - so dont use it in a closed room, ensure you have adequate ventilation.

You will need:

  1. some pages out of a glossy magazine.  look for scenery, wide areas of the same colour range, text doesnt work too well.
  2. Briteshine (avail from car shops such as supercheap for around $10 a tin)
  3. scroll or swirl type stamp and white ink pad
  4. images, german scrap for borders, 2 brads etc.,

also required is:

  • Gluestick
  • ATC back

  1. Take your glossy paper and a small wad (about the size of a cotton ball) of briteshine and rub it across the paper. You will see the glossy print start to fade and blur, if you keep going it will take it all off - so stop when its at a stage you like.
  2. Once its removed sufficient ink give it a good wipe over with a tissue to remove the black inky sediment that you've stirred up.
  3. once you have done that its ready to use straight away as card backgrounds, ATC backgrounds etc., to finish the ATC as per the example just :
  4. Glue the paper down onto your ATC back.
  5. Stamp the paper randomly with your scroll stamp loaded with white ink
  6. When the stamp is dry, attach your preferred image
  7. Add a border of german scrap (I rubbed a little rub n buff on mine)
